“flown” too close? Is this a synonym for “tossed?” Hmmm? They are almost our state flower here. Everyone has several.
Apparently Rhododendron ponticum was native in Britain before the last ice age, but died out; subsequent presence is due to human activity. It also has a tendency to take over our west-coast atlantic oakwood forestry… 🙁
