autumn

Autumn Abstract

Filling the frame: blobs, lines and spaces. Subtle yellow/orange/green-coloured autumn leaves and branches.

Nothing beats a silhouette of shapely trees against a clear blue sky, tinged with glimpses of warm autumn light.

Low autumn light and undulating landscape

Joys of big-tree country

The last remnants of warm yellow-orange colours in the sky as night falls

We saw our first live red squirrels since moving down to Galloway yesterday, running around the branches of this tree.

More evidence of autumn: glorious golden light at just the right time to walk Dog.

…the first conker of the season I’ve seen this year.

Patterns of sunlight and shadow gently playing with leaves on the woodland floor. Not yet autumn though 😉
