A colorful sunset in Portpatrick harbour: warm sky with silver-grey reflection from the water. Out of frame we spotted a heron stalking in the shallows.
As a general rule, lumpy undulating clouds (‘mammatus’) are a sign of a storm mostly spent passing by. I still got a bit wet walking the dog under this lot, however…
We discovered a plum tree hiding at the back of the garden just in time to taste some of the fruit at optimal ripeness. And it tasted good.. better than anything in a supermarket, for sure.
